In 2017, my artistic journey took an exciting turn, leading to the creation of "The Red Room Collection." This series was born from my deep desire to paint from a state of mind that transcends conscious thought, allowing creativity to flow freely. The collection's name is deeply personal, inspired by a small red room in my home, which has undergone a profound transformation.

This room held special significance as it once belonged to my son before he moved out. He had chosen the vibrant red color that I, too, grew to love. Over time, I envisioned this space as a versatile haven—a gallery, a place for healing, and a sanctuary for meditation. Today, it has become just that.

The color red holds a profound meaning, representing the base chakra that connects us to Mother Earth, providing grounding and a sense of safety and love when open and clear. Interestingly, my cat Sadie has also claimed this space whenever it was vacated by various renters, making it her sanctuary as well.

"The Red Room Collection" is a manifestation of these experiences and emotions, with each piece measuring 8" x 8", offering a unique perspective into this transformative journey.
