In 2017, I embarked on a creative journey that led to the birth of "The Red Room Collection." This series is a manifestation of my desire to paint from a place of profound inspiration, where thoughts take a backseat, and artistic expression flows freely.

The name "The Red Room Collection" carries a deeper significance. Nestled within my home is a small red room that has undergone various transformations over the years. Originally my son's room, it was adorned with a color he had chosen, a hue that resonated with me as well. This room has evolved into a gallery, a space for healing, and a sanctuary for meditation, all within the comforting embrace of the color red.

Red, often associated with the base chakra, serves as a powerful symbol of our connection to Mother Earth. It keeps us grounded, safe, and nurtured when it is open and unobstructed. Interestingly, my cat Sadie has claimed this room as her sanctuary whenever it was vacated by temporary occupants, further infusing it with a unique energy.
