Passionate About Art

My purpose with my work is the same as my purpose in Life. I intend on staying as open as I possibly can to change and growth, as I try to paint or create what I wish to be rather than what I am. I find that I teach what I am trying to learn. It is a challenge to allow spirit to flow through me without letting outside influences interpret it before it becomes. And in the same sense, to be me without those same influences shaping me.  

One of my all-time favorite quotes by Martha Graham is the best reminder I have of this effect. Graham says, "There is a vitality, a life force, an energy. A quickening that is translated through you into action and because there is only one you, in all of time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and be lost. The world will never have it..." 

Most of the images you will see here can be purchased in one form or another and the prices are quite affordable to any budget. I am an oil painter, photographer, and watercolorist, and have painted on just about any surface imaginable at one time or another.
